Tuesday

sobbing

Let me read it to you

sitting

quietly

in a corner

sobbing

tears flowing

down her cheeks

alone

mind searching

for a reason

confused

wondering

why did he leave

suddenly

joy

happiness

now all gone

crying

trembling

curled in a ball

inconsolable

others

ignore her

it’s like

she’s

invisible

The descending note of this piece effectively set the mood, and I was gasping for air when I reached the end.

Such a moving 'lil poem, Keith.

The economy of words used in each line, expressed the emotions in such a minimal way, yet achieve volumes of blow in the heart.

Thank you for being part of my writing life in 2008, Keith. I was less active towards the end of the year but I'm now preparing a come back for the dawning 2009.

May your year ahead would be as fruitful and would spring more blessings.

Seize 2009!

I wish you well.
